With Autumn well and truly here, it’s time to dig out the Autumn and Winter clothes. While shopping in Merry Hill, Dudley I found these amazing Denim dungarees that are girls yes from Topshop which I knew had my name written all over it. I’ve been looking for the perfect black denim dungarees for a year or two now. However, I nearly didn’t get them because of buying a size too big and also not looking at the label as it was a maternity dungarees! So I took it back and purchased a size 8 and made sure it wasn’t a maternity dungarees this time. Across the way was a beautiful red roll neck which I knew would go perfectly with the dungarees. Finishing the whole look with New Look men’s Chelsea Boots perfect for the winter months ahead and my Wide brim fedora for H&M. So I’ve done an outfit showcase for this look but will need to upload as soon as I come back from work later today.
With the British summer now fading away every so quickly I thought it was time to dig out my Autumn and Winter clothes. From my previous post about camel and how big it is this season, I thought I’d purchased a few extra items that were my favourite colour for the next few months. Starting with the camel trousers from ASOS, a pair of trousers I can easily dress up or dress down, layering up with my famous white eBay roll neck and adding that extra layer with my real Topman leather jacket add a camel wide brim fedora from ASOS and some fur lined boots which are also from ASOS and the look is complete and ready for those cold days and evenings.
Lately, there has been a lot of emphasis on the 70’s which by looking on my previous post is here to stay into Autumn and Winter. So I thought I’d jump on the bang wagon and style my own 70’s piece. I found this amazing denim boiler suit on Forever 21 in the women’s section and I had to have it. It’s a lightweight denim so perfect for summer but also perfect to layer up for those cold Autumn and Winter months ahead. For this look, I styled it ready for the Autumn and Winter months by adding a roll neck underneath to give the layering effect.
So Tom and I have wanted to find this abandoned house which isn’t far from where we live, so I went on google maps and for hours I searched this house. It so happened that a fire broke out randomly in the house and it’s been there ever since. I finally found it on google maps and today was the day we took it upon ourselves to go and do some photography and a video for me. It’s only a short outfit showcase and a little bit of what we got up to and a mini movie kind a thing that we had fun making aha! So the in this outfit showcase I am wearing. My famous wide brim hat from H&M. An amazing longline kimono from eBay which was only £8 an amazing bargain. I love how it swoops and is so cool. I then am wearing a vertical over-sized stripe t-shirt from Topman, my high waisted trousers from Asos and my brand new tasseled loafer shoes. I have also done a video for this outfit showcase so enjoy!
So today was my day off again and I had recently purchased a few things from ASOS and Topman. I wanted to do an all white outfit for a long time but didn’t have the courage to do it. But I think you know what let’s just do it. So with my new ASOS long-line bomber jacket that cost me £13.50, my Topman scoop hem technical t-shirt that cost £5.00 in, my ASOS extreme super skinny jeans that cost £22.50 and my ASOS Dr Marten like shoes that cost £21.00 I put this outfit together. I love how crisp and luminous the whole outfit is, which is perfect for the spring and summer months. I also talk about how my Visual Merchandising assessment goes in this video also. Go check the video out!
After my 6 o’clock start at work today I finished at 10:15 so I thought what better way to enjoy the weather than with another YouTube video showing off an outfit I’ve recently purchased. The outfit consists of My H&M wide brim fedora (which you’ve seen plenty of times) eBay sleeveless duster jacket (women’s), River Island khaki grandad shirt, eBay high-waisted shorts (women’s), Topman sunglasses and my Topman Sandals.
Khaki at the moment is a big trend within the women’s and men’s fashion world. I love the colour of the shirt and how it contrasts against the black, which gives it a harsh and soft edge to it. The shorts are high-waisted women’s shorts, which are so comfy out of shorts I’ve ever worn. The sleeveless duster jacket is also a women’s size 10. It’s a little big but I love it being over sized. Topping the look off with my Fedora hat that I love so much. I really enjoyed going for a lovely walk in the countryside with my shades on to showcase this look. Enjoy!
So today I spent the day with the lovely Tom, we went for a Starbucks and did a little window shopping. In Starbucks the lady behind the till asked us what we wanted on our cups and I said just put anything and she came up with “Lukie Boy, love your hat” which was a nice touch! I had a refreshing coffee cooler while Tom had a lime refresher. After spending a few hours in Starbucks we went for a little stroll into the town centre and went window shopping. Tom tried on a really nautical and lovely outfit from River Island which sparked a selfie of us both with our outfits. The only thing I purchased from the shopping centre was my Acqua Di Gio, Giorgio Armani aftershave which is beautiful. It smells so good, I keep smelling myself because it smells so good. After a stroll around when decided to take a few photos showcasing our outfits and did some selfies together. Which then lead onto our outfit showcase video….. enjoy!
So after I purchased an amazing Tartan Kimono from the reclaimed vintage section of ASOS and I had to show it off. So I thought what better way to showcase it then a runway style walk down the lane by my house. A follow-up video of my “Hello YouTube” which is in my previous post. I wanted the outfit to be a bit grungy so I threw on my trusted fedora hat and my creeper like shoes to tie the look together. Enjoy the video!
So from my previous post “Summer Wish list” you know I wanted to start buying brighter clothing as the summer months are upon us. I wanted a very tropical look. Taking a spontaneous trip in to H&M I walked past the womenswear section to get to the mens and I happened to see these trousers and they caught my eye. I wanted a pair very similar to them, which are on my wish list. However, the pair on my wish list are a jersey material and the pair that I’m wearing in my photos are more of a proper trouser material. I love the fit and I love the pattern on them with the different greens blending together. They’re a women’s size 8 but I think I could have got away with a 6 around the waist but not around the crotch area! Nonetheless they’re an amazing fit and I love them so much. I can’t seem to find them on the H&M website so keep an eye out in store, at £14.99 they’re a bargain! I’ve always wanted palm print trousers from when I first started getting into fashion and saw that Topman did them one year but I didn’t think I would pull them off. But H&M have proved me wrong! I teamed the trousers up with a simple white jumper I purchased on eBay for £5.99 along with my beige brogues I purchased from River Island a long time ago! I really enjoyed doing this photo shoot, I wanted to get creative and do something different to showcase the outfit and I’m very happy with the outcome.
So It’s been a while since I did a favourite outfits post and because I brought a new t-shirt yesterday and the sun was shining today, I thought I’d put an outfit together that I really love. I also thought I would showcase my brown hair seeing as people wanted to see it when I got it done. I thought the grey was getting a little too much upkeep and so I thought just going a nice subtle colour close to my natural would look good.
While in Zara the other day I noticed that they had a lot of new prints which were bold and colourful. The t-shirt I’m wearing in my photo at the moment is my most colourful item of clothing. which for me makes me sad. As I’m a colourful person I really need to re-invent my wardrobe and inject so much more colour into it. The t-shirts from Zara are very reasonably priced at £19.99 and very good quality. My trousers are women’s trousers/joggers from my work. Marks and Spencer’s. They’re from the Limited section and are the most comfiest trousers I own. I got them in size 10 thinking they’d fit but they are just a tad big and would have got away with an 8, so I have to keep pulling them up every 5 minutes. The trousers were a good buy as they were £10 in the sale but with my 20% discount I got them even cheaper, I do love a bargain. My sandals are something I wanted last year but silly me left it till the last-minute and didn’t get them. However this year I saw them on Topman and had to buy them. They come in Tan or Black. Black just goes with everything so I stuck with black. They’re so comfortable and the first time I’ve ever worn sandals since I was little. I definitely want to buy the tan coloured ones to create new summer outfits with other colours that will go with Tan. The sandals are £60 from Topman but I got them cheaper with a gift card I had from christmas however I do know Zara have some sandals which are very similar!
