So now with the countdown trickling down, it’s only 5 days till Ellen and I will be on a plane just like my little stop animation photography to Tenerife. I actually can’t wait to get there. It’s about time I had something to look forward too and boy am I going to enjoy myself while I’m there! In obvious “Quirkycurlsfashion” I shall be posting a few videos before hand, showcasing my outfits that I plan to wear. As you can see from the photo below I have purchased some cute nautical things that I’m excited to showcase. I then shall do a “pack with me” video. As I’ve said in my previous post I shall be taking my GoPro camera with me and videoing most of the holiday, as this is no ordinary holiday. Ellen and myself have had a rough few months and this is a big fat middle finger to everything that’s happened and it’s also to celebrate my 25 years living on this planet. A few of my followers have also said they shall want me to do a live video while I’m there so I shall do that one of the days I’m there. I hardly want to use my phone while I’m there so this will just be a short time. I plan to do this on Instagram so if you don’t follow then get over to my instagram right now and follow me…. @quirkycurlsfashion is the handle. I just want to be there right now. 5 days!

So keep yourself in the loop with what is happening over at ASOS and check back everyday as they have a different trend offer changing everyday. Head over now to find your deal:
I can’t believe we are already in March. March means it’s my birthday on the 19th, with it being my 25th I wanted to do something amazing. So Ellen and I have only gone and booked a 5 day holiday to Tenerife. It was the spur of the moment thing however, I’m so glad we have. When Ellen spoke to me about Tenerife saying it was somewhere she’s always wanted to go and the reason for this was because of Siam Park. If you’re not aware of what Siam park is well, it’s the worlds best water park. It boasts 15 amazing attractions in different categories. In this video is a snippet of just some of the amazing attractions they have
So once Ellen had told me about this water park and I knew I had to go. Tenerife is always somewhere I’ve wanted to go also but I totally didn’t know about Siam Park. I wanted to go for the reason of just how beautiful it looks on photos. We are staying in a four-star hotel on the north side of the island in Puerto de la Cruz. It is a little out of the way of where we did want to stay but none the less we got an amazing deal for what we’ve got! It may look basic but it’s all we need for the 5 days we are there as we don’t plan to stay in the hotel very much. In addition to this holiday, I have purchased a go pro camera. I’m only allowed to take 10 kilograms of luggage which is going to kill me. So I wanted something compact and small to take with me to do a video and take photos. My phone has no memory so that’s no use and my camera is just too big and bulky. Plus I wanted something waterproof so I can take it to the beach and the water park and show you guys the action. I’m super excited to tap into the travel vlogging side of YouTube.
In addition to this holiday, Ellen and I have also booked an amazing holiday for July. We’ve booked to go to Fuerteventura. A 5* all inclusive holiday in the most beautiful of places…. Club Jandia Princess. It’s the most stunning hotel and setting I’ve ever seen. With this booking, we’ve even scored it cheaper as we paid for the Adults only section of the hotel giving us exclusive access to more of the hotel. With all of our food and drinks paid for it’s going to be one messy holiday, I know for sure. As much as we have everything paid for in the hotel I would love to venture out and see some more of what Fuerteventura has to offer. With only 147 days to go, I’m so excited!
Here is a little video of me talking about the holidays and some extra little things going on in my life too.
When best friends get drunk they totally throw random video ideas for your Youtube. However, this time the girl came through. Ellen has been my friend for some time and we’ve become really good friends in the past few months. She does amazing make-up and she said while doing her make up in the toilets, drunk may I add that she wanted to do my make-up. I said not here or now.. and she was like right okay…. your next YouTube video! I was like yeah let’s do this. So here it is……
Valentines for me has always been a little tedious. You shouldn’t have to show how much you love someone with just one day, it should be a year round gesture. However, I used to love making handmade cards and making sure my loved one got something they wanted. This year has made me realise, being single on Valentines day it’s just another day just to spend a lot of money for no other reason to show that you “care”. For people that are single, it’s just a reminder that we are single. But if like me, it doesn’t get the best of you. Just think of all that half price chocolate after Valentines!
So I decided to do a video going towards Anti-Valentines. For anyone that has recently come out of a relationship or has been single for a long time. Don’t forget your worth. You are loved and you are amazing! At the end of the day it’s “Your Loss Babe” With a mixture of fun slogan t-shirts and embroidered shirts, this fun anti-valentine lookbook was so much fun to do, as you can clearly see from the photos and lookbook video.
So, we are through January already. If you watched my “New Year, New Me Cliché” video you would know that I was wanting to save this year and get to grips with a few things in my life. 1) Was to dye my hair and re-invent myself. A shade darker thank planned and I achieved this! 2) Join a gym. As you can see from this video and my previous video I have also achieved this goal. 3) To save. Now this is where it gets funny. I am saving and putting away as much as I can a month is easier than anything. But I have also purchased a lot this month. It’s a lot to do with being savvy. With Christmas sales still on you can still find an amazing bargain within all your favourite shops. So here are all my purchases from after Christmas to now!

New Look Men Activewear OOTD – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmocAQZrhmE
This is not a sponsored post, I just wanted to share my love for my new activewear. Having such a small waist of 26 inches, it’s a pain to try and find anything that fits me. Especially in activewear. Everything starts from an XS and that just doesn’t fit properly, it’s baggy and just doesn’t look nice. However, as I follow New Look on Instagram I noticed that they had just launched a menswear active range. So I head over to their website and check it out, I noticed instantly that they had my size range which was perfect. Finally, activewear that will fit and I can look stylish at the same time. Being very picky I decided to buy the Camo running tights priced at £24.99 as I wanted something printed instead of going plain black. I then purchased the Camo T-shirt to match, which is priced at £14.99. I team these up with my Black running shorts priced at a very reasonable £9.99. On top of these, I’ve also purchased a burgundy long sleeve sports top priced again at a very reasonable £9.99 and a Black short sleeve sports top at a bargain price of £7.99. My trainers, I also purchased from New Look Men but however are no longer available to purchase online, as they went in the sale. Everything I’ve purchased is very good quality and perfect for those gym training sessions. They are very stretchy material so they will stretch with you when you’re doing those squats and very breathable when you’re doing that powerful workout on the treadmill. The print of the camo is also very on trend at the moment so you’ll be one of the super stylish guys rocking at the gym. I highly recommend anyone to purchase them as they super comfortable, trendy and just amazing price points!
Check out the video for the camo outfit in action.
So the other day while trying to be clever and sort out my blog. I do the worst thing imaginable for a blogger and that’s completely delete their blog. How did I do this I hear you ask? I tell all in this video just how silly and stupid I really am…..
Embroidery is decorating fabric or other materials with a needle and thread or yarn. Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as, pearls, beads, quills, and sequins. Today, embroidery is most often seen on caps, hats, coats, blankets, dress shirts, denim, stockings, and golf shirts.
Before Christmas we started to see this trend take centre stage within women’s products. However, It’s now started coming through all over the menswear scene. From shirts, jackets shoes and bags. Everything now has some kind of embroidered piece to it. I for one love this trend, I love anything that has a quirky motif to enhance the garment. I’ve selected a few items from my favourite websites to showcase the best the world of high street fashion has to offer…
If you’re a lovely returning person who reads my blog you know that I adore ASOS. ASOS always do a trend right. They jump on it and then take it 10374944 times into the next dimension and this trend hasn’t disappointed me! ASOS normally embroider flowers but they’ve stepped up their game and started to embroider different thing like birds and crowns which is even more reason to fall in love with ASOS. I love that they’ve added a little femininity into their designs but still kept the masculinity in the garments as some guys aren’t prepared to wear something that has flowers or birds on them. The denim jacket is my all time favourite piece from ASOS, It’s an awesome design and it even has a borg collar which I adore so much!
River Island has also jumped onto the embroidered trend but as always have taken the street style kind of approach. Their garments always ooze that street cred that people strive for. That little bit edgy and grungy kind of feel to it. While River Island have only really stuck to the hoody, the renowned bomber jacket and t-shirts, it hasn’t been as adventurous as it’s competitor ASOS. None the less the garments are flawless in design and I would like all of them please!
Now H&M don’t normally have things for men that are a little bit out there. However, This jacket is something I want and need in my life. But this is the only embroidered piece I could find on the men’s section. This is a stunning shirt jacket that’s perfect for layering. With floral detailing on the arms and on the back of the jacket it’s the perfect addition to your Spring wardrobe. I need this in my life as soon as possible!
So the pyjama styling has been around now for nearly a year. But I’ve recently fallen so deeply in love with it. That fact a lot of places are now including it in their Spring and Summer collections is making me so happy. With the likes of ASOS, River Island, and Marks and Spencer’s all following this trend into Spring and Summer. The outfit I’m wearing is currently in the sale at Dorothy Perkins. I found the trousers which I instantly fell in love with, I’m someone who’s always into Cigarette trousers or skinny jeans. So to wear a wide leg in the style of a pyjama was something new to me, I wasn’t sure whether it would look right on me as I’m skinny. However, I decided to buy them there and then! £12 for the trousers. Bargain! I then found a similar style shirt on ASOS that looked perfect. However, when it arrived, the colouring was way off compared to the trousers. Instead of white pipping it was like a beige colour pipping, so I sent it back. I then needed a shirt that matched the trousers. So I typed into google, pyjama style pipped shirt and low and behold the shirt to match the trousers was on Dorothy Perkins. Size 12 which is what I have to get in women’s as I’m broad shouldered for £7! Another bargain.
When Styling I wanted to keep it simple and something I could wear in all seasons. However it’s winter here so adding a roll neck underneath was needed. I added my ribbed white roll neck from Topman and I really loved that it added just that extra look to the outfit. Throw on my much loved fedora hat and my M&S trainers and I was away. I really love this outfit and it has been one of the comfiest outfits in my wardrobe to date. Check out my video:
