So at the moment the grid/window pane pattern is very on trend right now. Inspired by the criss-crossing of old fashioned windowpanes, the checkered pattern is the ideal combination of classic and cutting edge. The elegant lines define and extenuate the cut of the garment you are wearing to create a bold statement. The grid look can be worn on its own, or all together. If you like being adventurous. try the head to toe look in windowpane. Either a 3 piece suit or a crop top with high waisted window pane trousers.
I recently brought some suit like trousers that have the window pane pattern on them from ASOS. I wear them high waisted with a big chunky belt. They are cropped but I brought a longer length so I could wear them either normally or rolled up. They really work well with anything, I’ve teamed it up for an all black look but I like it most with my burgundy monk styled shoes and my burgundy roll neck. I’ve also recently brought a black and white grid shirt from River Island, (See picture below) it’s just an amazing print to have in your wardrobe and it’s an alternative and simple version of the tartan/plaid.
I’ve listed below the websites that I go on that have a lot of the grid print. ASOS is a very good one to get lots of the grid print.
