Christmas parties are something that I love. I love being able to dress up in a suave outfit and dance the night away with people I work very closely with. It’s always fun and nice at the same time to see people outside without their uniform on. As when we are at work the uniform doesn’t really tell you much about the person but when you have this kind of night, focus goes to the outfit. With my Christmas party coming up on Sunday the 17th of December I wanted a show stopper outfit.
For my Christmas party outfit, I wanted to buy an outfit that was very festive but at the same time very me. So I decided to buy a new suit, as the other suit I purchased last year wouldn’t even touch me now. However, this suit is a colour I would never have picked a year ago. Forest green. The ASOS suit fits perfectly and is completely different to something I would normally wear. It’s a Skinny fit jacket and tapered trousers. So not super skinny like my grey on I purchased last yet to go to a wedding. It’s given me the option to grow into it a little more with going to the gym.
Underneath the suit, I wanted to have a show stopper shirt. It needed to be something that wasn’t going to clash with the green, so either a white, black or a cream. I was looking on my favourite fashion brands frantically. I was having no look and was about to give up when I stumbled across the creamy/white lace shirt on Topman. It’s the most stunning piece of clothing I’ve ever owned. It’s so delicate and just looks so elegant. To finish the look off, I found some ribbon and made one of my signature bows. It wouldn’t be a formal look if it didn’t have one of my signature bows on right? Once the bow was complete I added a Snowflake brooch which I purchased off eBay for like £3 and dug out my tassel suede loafers to match my black bow. I can’t wait to showcase my outfit and have a fabulous outfit. I most certainly will post some pictures and any videos that become apparent.
